NATIONAL WOLFPACK SERVICE DAY

National Wolfpack Service Day is a day set aside by the General Alumni Association where all alumni are asked to volunteer in their communities. This year will mark the 4th year that BAS has actively participated in this annual event.  Please mark your calendar. We strongly encourage you to come out and support this event.

Make a Difference in the Name of the NC State

Saturday, October 15

Be a part of Wolfpack Service Day and help needy organizations throughout Wake County. With 20 sites to choose from, there's sure to be a service opportunity that appeals to you.

Volunteers will gather at the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center on Centennial Campus. After checking in, you'll get your site assignments (based on choices made during registration), snacks, water and a volunteer gift. Volunteers will be asked to sign a volunteer waiver. After a few words of inspiration, volunteers will disperse to the service sites.

Check-in begins: 7:15 a.m.
Brief Program: 8 a.m.
Disperse to sites: 8:30 a.m.
Volunteer hours: 9 a.m. to noon

(All volunteers less than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. If you have a large group who wants to volunteer, contact Allison Dodson at 919-515-0522 or allison_dodson@ncsu.edu .)

We are seeking site coordinators who are willing to attend a pre-event meeting to meet site representatives. On service day, site coordinators will organize volunteers and answer general questions about the site. If you are willing to perform these duties, indicate your intention on the registration form.
