2011 Black Alumni Society Membership Challenge

The Black Alumni Society is supported by the dues-paying members of the NC State Alumni Association. We need you to join today and help us reach our goal of increasing membership in the Alumni Association.

With the support of the NC State Alumni Association, the Black Alumni Society helps with multi-cultural and diversity activities on campus, provides student scholarships, hosts the annual Black Alumni Reunion and other BAS events.

A strong alumni association improves strength of the NC State and the value of our degrees. Membership is just $40 per year and benefits include professional networking opportunities and career services, discounts on NC State apparel, discounts on travel, access to the Wolfpack Connect online community, a subscription to NC State magazine and much more.

Membership Challenge Awards

The results for group awards will be announced at the BAS Homecoming Tailgate on November 19. The contest begins on September 7 and ends on November 12.

In order to participate in the membership drive you must meet the following requirements:

·         Must be up to date on Alumni dues

·         You do not have to be African American or of African decent to participate

·         Couples who have registered under one account will count as two if both are NCSU Alumni

·         Must turn in Membership Forms with a cover letter stating that you are entering the membership application for Challenge. If you want to be included in the challenge, please turn in you application along with your check within 2 weeks of the deadline. It is best that you submit online.

We will be tracking the responses by class year, college and African-American Student Advisory Organization to see which group has the most participation in this membership drive – so please choose how you would like us to affiliate your membership.

How to Participate

Non-Alumni Association Members
Become a member of the Alumni Association and complete the Membership Drive Challenge information when you fill out the join form.

Already an Alumni Association Member? You can still participate. Log into your Alumni Association membership account and complete the Membership Drive Challenge Form.
