Currently retired, Norma Wright Garcia ’66 received a Bachelor of Arts in History. She was also the first African American female student to live on campus and the first African American female student to complete an undergraduate degree at NC State.

 

 

Marcus Belvin ’01 is a graduate student in Business Administration at UNC-Chapel Hill and an Extreme Blue Product Market Manager at IBM. He is the immediate past president of the Black Alumni Society and coordinator of the Inaugural Black Alumni Conference in 2005. In 2007, he was named “Outstanding Young Alumnus” by the NC State Alumni Association.
